The One Helena Hundred celebrates its 9th annual ride on Saturday, July 21, 2001. Choose between one of two distances - the Metric Century (100 kilometers) or the Century (100 miles).
Bicycle from Wolf Creek to Cascade and then to Ulm via the frontage road aptly names Recreation Road. The route is gentle, meandering alongside the Missouri River, with small rolling hills. Lunch is in the Cascade City Park. The Metric Century riders return to Wolf Creek after lunch, and the Century riders go on to Ulm before heading back to Wolf Creek.
The Missouri River offers prime panoramas. While you cycle, pelicans soar overhead as the river rafters and fishermen enjoy the bounty of the river. Refreshments and restroom facilities will be available at the three rest stops and lunch. Support services will be available for any mechanical problems along the route.
